Before the foundation of VERBIO AG in 2006, the subsidiaries were managed as independent companies. Even so, at this time they were already affiliated due to the ownership structure. Under the joint corporate and brand umbrella, we can now leverage the advantages of an efficient, powerful organization in our relationships with our customers, raw materials suppliers and the public. Moreover, size is becoming an increasingly important factor for success on the fiercely contested biofuel market.

Our legal form changed on November 30, 2023 from VERBIO Vereinigte BioEnergie AG in Verbio SE, a European (public limited) company (Societas Europaea).

Registered office of Verbio SE is in Zoerbig, Germany. Management Board, the central group functions, R&D and plant engineering are all based in Leipzig, Germany.
